Helping the Hungry

Poverty and hunger has always been something I've been incredibly passionate about helping out with. Grounded Organics pledges to donate a minimum of $500 per month, or 1% of our gross sales, whichever is higher. $500 provides 5,000 MEALS. If we can help those in need not worry about where their next meal is coming from, they can focus on getting their life back in order and working towards a better career path, stay out of trouble, no need to steal to eat or pay for food, and less crime in general. 

We feel the lack of food creates a domino effect at the bottom, people will do whatever it takes to feed their family and survive. Their energy is better focused on getting out of poverty than figuring out how they're going to get their next meal. 

We just want to say thank you, from the bottom of our hearts for your continued support and allowing us to donate monthly to such a great cause. Typically Novement-December we miss a month of donations so we can donate and serve a local cause.

So I'm a month behind here, instead of Feeding America, I decided to donate to the Australian fire relief funds. Animal preservation is something dear to me and watching a billion animals perish was absolutely heartbreaking. On top of that the under funded fire fighters and volunteers need help, the hundreds of thousands (maybe millions, I'm not sure) who lost their homes or who were in some way effected, really need our help. I have a matching promotion being ran on Reddit right now where I'll match up to another $500. Not much but every bit helps.
